About Me

Young Jacob is a realtor with Compass Real Estate based on the tropical island of Oahu, Hawaii. She experienced an amazing journey through life, from her beginning in South Korea, down to the Pacific shorelines of Hawaii, and California, making her dreams come true!

Young came a long way from selling herbs growing up to selling some of the most sought-after luxury homes in San Francisco's prestigious Bay Area.

Young is originally from South Korea but moved to Hawaii in 1991 received an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University. She relocates to California in 1999 before eventually settling back in Hawaii in 2021, which she considers home. Due to her unique background and natural entrepreneurial spirit, Young can bring many great insights to her clients. Her experience spans over 20 years of 200 plus successful transactions. As someone who has traveled extensively and lived in different countries and states, Young knows what moving and looking for a home means. She can easily relate to her clients and their needs. A combination of excellent work ethic, personal experiences, and passion made it possible for Young to thrive in the real estate market and establish a successful business and good relationships with her clients over two decades. Recently back in Hawaii, she is ready to take on a new chapter of her personal and professional journey.

Young's approach to her job is very client-centric. She values the importance of strategy and planning and prioritizes her clients' needs. She understands that purchasing a new home can be a significant investment, perhaps the most important in a person's or a family's life, and is there to walk you through this process.

When not busy working, Young loves to spend time outdoors with her husband, her daughter and her two dogs, especially hiking and traveling, or simply kick back with a nice dinner among friends and a glass of Pinot Noir.

Young is fluent in English and Korean, and she also speaks conversational Japanese and Chinese so that she can serve clients from all walks of life!
