HBR's 2008 REALTOR® of the Year

The Honolulu Board of REALTORS® honored Shelly Campbell as the 2008 REALTOR® of the Year as well as the Aloha 'Aina REALTOR® Award recipients at the 2008 Holiday General Membership Meeting held on Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

The REALTOR® of the Year Award is presented each year to one exceptional REALTOR® who has made significant contributions to the advancement of the real estate profession, as well as to the community-at-large. The REALTOR® of the Year Committee selects the recipient of the coveted award on the basis of REALTOR® spirit, faithfulness to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, civic activity, business accomplishment, and local, state, and national REALTOR® participation.

Campbell, a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Honolulu, has been a member for over 29 years. She is an associate member of the Assistance League of Hawaii and does community service work through the Rotary Club of Metropolitan Honolulu. She has also served on the USO Board of Directors for twelve years, is currently on the YMCA Board of Managers for the Kaimuki-Waialae branch and was the 1998 President of the Hawaii Aloha Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists. Campbell believes that one of the keys to success is education and she has worked diligently to achieve the highest level of professionalism in her industry. She holds four of the real estate industry's most prestigious professional designations - Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Agent (ABR), and Seniors' Real Estate Specialist (SRES). She also recently became an e-PRO Internet Certified Agent.
